Luke
Chapter
22
Passover Last Supper
14: And when the hour came, he sat at table, and
the apostles with him.
15: And he said to them, "I have earnestly desired to eat
this passover with you before I suffer;
John chapter 13
33:`Where I am going you cannot
come.'
36: Simon Peter said to him, "Lord, where are you going?"
Jesus answered, "Where I am going you cannot follow me now; but you
shall follow afterward."
37: Peter said to him, "Lord, why cannot I follow you now?
I will lay down my life for you."
38: Jesus answered, "Will you lay down your life for me?
Truly, truly, I say to you, the cock will not crow, till you have
denied me three times.
Mathew 26
33: Peter declared to him, "Though they all fall away
because of you, I will never fall away."
35: Peter said to him, "Even if I must die with
you, I will not deny you." And so said all the disciples.
Mark 14
27: And Jesus said to them, "You will all fall away; for
it is written, `I w ill strike
the shepherd, and the
sheep will be scattered.'
Luke 22
32: but I have prayed for you that your faith may not
fail; and when you have turned again, strengthen your brethren."
John 13
21: When Jesus had thus spoken, he was troubled in spirit,
and testified, "Truly, truly, I say to you, one of you will betray me."
22: The disciples looked at one another, uncertain of whom
he spoke
23: One of his disciples, whom Jesus loved, was lying
close to the breast of Jesus;
24: so Simon Peter beckoned to him and said, "Tell us who
it is of whom he speaks."
25: So lying thus, close to the breast of Jesus, he said
to him, "Lord, who is it?"
26: Jesus answered, "It is he to whom I shall give this
morsel when I have dipped it." So when he had dipped the morsel, he
gave it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot.
27: Then after the morsel, Satan entered into him. Jesus
said to him, "What you are going to do, do quickly."
28: Now no one at the table knew why he said this to him.
29: Some thought that, because Judas had the money box,
Jesus was telling him, "Buy what we need for the feast"; or, that he
should give something to the poor.
30: So, after receiving the morsel, he immediately went
out; and it was night.
Mark Chapter 22
22: And as they were eating, he took bread, and
blessed, and broke it.
John Chapter 6
35: Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life; he who
comes to me shall not hunger, and he who believes in me shall never
thirst.
50: This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that a
man may eat of it and not die.
Luke Chapter 22
19: And he took bread, and when he had given thanks he
broke it and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body which is given
for you. Do this in remembrance of me."

Mark Chapter 22
23: And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he
gave it to them, and they all drank of it.
24: And he said to them, "This is my blood of the
covenant, which is poured out for many.
Matthew Chapter 26
29: I tell you I shall not drink again of this fruit of
the vine until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's
kingdom."

John Chapter 13
34: A new commandment I give to you, that you love one
another; even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
John Chapter 15
13: Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down
his life for his friends.
John Chapter 13
35: By this all men will know that you are my disciples,
if you have love for one another."

John Chapter 17
1: When Jesus had spoken these words, he lifted up his
eyes to heaven and said, "Father, the hour has come; glorify thy Son
that the Son may glorify thee,
9: I am praying for them; I am not praying for the world
but for those whom thou hast given me, for they are thine;
10: all mine are thine, and thine are mine, and I am
glorified in them.
John Chapter 14
6: Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and
the life; no one comes to the Father, but by me.
The Passion of Christ
Mark Chapter 14
The Agony in the Garden
32: And they went to a place which was called
Gethsemane;
and he said to his disciples, "Sit here, while I pray."
33: And he took with him Peter and James and John, and
began to be greatly distressed and troubled.
34: And he said to them, "My soul is very sorrowful,
even to death; remain here, and watch."
35: And going a little farther, he fell on the ground and
prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.
36: And he said, "Abba, Father, all things are possible to
thee; remove this cup from me; yet not what I will, but what thou
wilt."
37: And he came and found them sleeping, and he said to
Peter, "Simon, are you asleep? Could you not watch one hour?
38: Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation;
the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak."
39: And again he went away and prayed, saying the same
words.
40: And again he came and found them sleeping, for their
eyes were very heavy; and they did not know what to answer him.
41: And he came the third time, and said to them, "Are you
still sleeping and taking your rest? It is enough; the hour has come;
the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
42: Rise, let us be going; see, my betrayer is at hand."
43: And immediately, while he was still speaking, Judas
came, one of the twelve, and with him a crowd with swords and clubs,
from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders.
44: Now the betrayer had given them a sign, saying, "The
one I shall kiss is the man; seize him and lead him away under guard."
45: And when he came, he went up to him at once, and said,
"Master!" And he kissed him.
John Chapter 18
Jesus is arrested
1: When Jesus had spoken these words, he went
forth with
his disciples across the Kidron valley, where there was a garden, which
he and his disciples entered.
2: Now Judas, who betrayed him, also knew the place; for
Jesus often met there with his disciples.
3: So Judas, procuring a band of soldiers and some
officers from the chief priests and the Pharisees, went there with
lanterns and torches and weapons.
4: Then Jesus, knowing all that was to befall him, came
forward and said to them, "Whom do you seek?"
5: They
answered him, "Jesus of Nazareth." Jesus said to them, "I am he."
Judas, who betrayed him, was standing with them.
6: When he said to them, "I am he," they drew back and
fell to the ground.
7: Again he asked them, "Whom do you seek?" And they said,
"Jesus of Nazareth."
8: Jesus answered, "I told you that I am he; so, if you
seek me, let these men go."
9: This was to fulfil the word which he had spoken, "Of
those whom thou gavest me I lost not one."
10: Then Simon Peter, having a sword, drew it and struck
the high priest's slave and cut off his right ear. The slave's name was
Malchus.
11: Jesus said to Peter, "Put your sword into its sheath;
shall I not drink the cup which the Father has given me?"
12: So the band of soldiers and their captain and the
officers of the Jews seized Jesus and bound him.
